Manchester United 2023-24 Away Kit by adidas

The Manchester United 2023-24 away shirt has divided opinions, actually most people are saying it's one of the worst United kits, but we're not so sure, win a few games and it could be a classic.

The colourway and stripe arrangement takes inspiration from their first ever away strip under the name Manchester United after changing from Newton Heath in 1912. The green was a more traditional tone back then, however, to give it a 2023 feel - whatever that is - the designers went for a 'night-green' base, which symbolises Manchester's urban landscape, with a white and red stripe, apparently to represent the city's distinctive red bricks and architecture.

One interesting feature is that the stripe runs down the sleeve of the shirt as well as the main body which could be seen as jarring with the adidas three stripes also running in the same direction.

The authentic and player versions of the kit will have a sublimated sponsor and incorporates HEAT.RDY technology. For the replica version it's AEROREADY technology and heat transfered sponsor.
