Classic and Retro Welsh Clubs Football Shirts

Welsh football has come on leaps and bounds since Euro 2016 where the national side reached the Semi-Finals of the competition. With club sides Swansea City, Cardiff City,Newport County and Wrexham - the big four of Wales - playing in the English leagues, the Welsh football system is often overlooked.

But the structure has improved significantly since the old 'League of Wales' days, and since the formation of the Welsh Premier League in 1992, the funding and quality of football in the small British nation has taken off. With giants of the division TNS dominating as a professional side in their well known green and white hoops, sides across the country are awaiting to topple them. Bala Town in the black and white of Maes Tegid fly the flag in Europe and the all blue of Bangor City have become one of the six champions in the division.

Wales have had some mighty victories, including that of Barry Town who beat the Portugease champions FC Porto in the UEFA Cup at Jenner Park in 2001. TNS also gave Polish Champions Legia Warsaw at the Racecourse Ground in 2013 in the Europa League before eventually losing out in Warsaw in the second leg.
