Details - Silver away shirt as worn when Aston Villa finished 8th in the Premier League and were knocked out in the third round of the FA Cup, losing 3-2 against Manchester United, as John Gregory resigned in January after being in charge of the club for four years, being replace by Graham Taylor. Also worn when Aston Villa finished as one of the winners of the Intertoto Cup, beating FC Basel 5-2 on aggregate in the finals, however they were knocked out in the first round of the UEFA Cup, losing on away goals against NK Varteks.
