Details - Goalkeeper shirt as worn as the side successfully defended their Premier League title finishing an impressive 7 point clear above Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool. United also lifted the Charity Shield, thrashing Newcastle 4-0 at Wembley but could only reach the Semi-finals of the Champions League, losing 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund who went on the win the competition. The end of the season saw fan favourite Eric Cantona announce his retirement from the game at the age of just 30.
