Details - Away shirt as worn when Sheffield United were promoted to the top flight of English Football for the first time since they were relegated in the 1975-76 season, finsihing 2nd in the Second Division in the 1989-90 season under Dave Bassett. The following season Sheffield United managed to consolodate their postion in the First Division after finishing safely in mid table in 13th place.
