Classic and Retro Huddersfield Town Football Shirts
Formed in August 1908, Huddersfield Town are flying the flag for Yorkshire in the Premier League following promotion in 2017.
Their first ever kit was worn during a match against Bradford Park Avenue in 1908 before moving on to a red shirt with white shorts.
The first time they wore today's colours of blue and white stripes was in 1913, but blue was first worn four years previous.
The stripes were settled on until 1966, where a blue base was adopted for three years, until the old colours were reverted. In 1975 they had their first manufacturers, Bukta. They designed their shirts for four years and took them back to a blue base until 1977. Their next designer was Barralan which began a string of lesser known manufacturers designing their shirts including Gola, Bloggs and Voi.
In 2009 a lighter shade of blue was used and the Terriers are now known for their sky blue and white combinations as they enter England's top flight.
