Details - Third shirt as worn by Manchester united when they finished as runners up in the Premier league, joint highest finish since the retiremet of Alex Furguson in 2013. In April 2021 this season saw unprecedented controversey surrounding top flight clubs by the attempted formation of a European Super League. Upon its announcemet came huge backlash from fans, media, sponsors and players and within two days the club withdrew their submission. Soon after saw protests againts Woodward and owners The Glazer Family which led to a pitch invasion ahead of a league match against Liverpool on 2 May 2021, which saw a Premier League game get postponed due to supporter protests for the first time in the Premier League history.
