Details - Home shirt worn as Pompey triumphed to win the League Two title on the final day of the season. Under Paul Cook the blues battled against Plymouth Argyle and Doncaster Rovers but found themselves in third place on the final day. With both their opponents failing to win, the blues thrashed Cheltenham Town 6-1 at Fratton Park to claim an unlikely title, having not been top of the table at any point before during the season.
