Details - Home shirt as worn in Gus Poyet's first season as manager. The club finished 14th in the Premier League after completing a great escape from relegation when they looked dead and buried with just a month or so of the season remaining. The kit was worn in the 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in April; Jose Mourinho's first ever home league defeat as manager of Chelsea. They were also runners-up in the League Cup, losing 3-1 to Manchester City after initially taking the lead. It was the club's first major cup final in 41 years, since their FA Final Cup win over Leeds United.
