Details - Very rare home shirt as worn by Ajax, the Amsterdam-based football club, they finished as runners up in Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, and also reached the final of the UEFA Cup, losing to Eintracht Frankfurt. The team was managed by Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff, who had recently retired as a player and taken on a coaching role.
