Details - Very rare away shirt that never got used in league games, where the sponsor started as Opel but in July the sponsorship changed to T-Mobile for the rest of the season. Bayern Munich finished as champions of the Bundesliga, finishing 16 points ahead of second placed VfB Stuttgart, and won the DFB-Pokal, beating Kaiserslautern 3-1 in the final. Also worn when Bayern Munich were knocked out in the first group stage of the Champions League, finishing bottom of their group behind AC Milan, Deportivo La Coruna and Lens.
