Details - Away shirt as worn when Schalke finished 5th and 10th respectively in the Bundesliga and were knocked out in the second round of the DFB-Pokal in both seasons, losing 1-0 against Eintracht Trier and Borussia Dortmund in respective seasons. Also worn when Schalke were knocked out in the quarter finals of the 1997-98 UEFA Cup, losing 2-1 on aggregate against Inter Milan after beating them to win the competition in the previous season.
