Details - Home shirt as worn when Sampdoria finished 5th in both seasons in Serie A and won the 1988-89 Coppa Italia, beating Napoli 4-1 on aggregate in the final. Also worn when Sampdoria made it to the final of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in back to back seasons, losing 2-0 against Barcelona in the 1988-89 season before winning the competition in the next season after beating Anderlecht 2-0 after extra time.
