Details - Cardigan as worn following a successful season for the club that saw them complete a famous league and cup double. Kenny Dalglish was unable to repeat the feat in the 1986-87 season as his side finished 2nd in the First Division, finishing 9 points behind champions Everton, and were knocked out in the third round of the FA Cup, losing 3-0 against Luton Town in a second replay.
