Details - Home shirt as worn when FC Nantes won the French Division 1 title for the fifth time in the clubs history following back to back second place finishes in the previous two seasons. The team managed by Jean Vincent finished 3 points clear of second placed Sochaux in French Division 1 and also made it to the semi finals of the European Cup Winners Cup, being knocked out by Valencia after the tie finished 5-2 on aggregate.
