Details - Home shirt worn during the period Ireland competed in the qualifiers for the 1980 European Championship, 1982 World Cup and the 1984 European Championship. Ireland failed to qualify for all three major tournaments but did notably face Northern Ireland in the 1980 European Championship in what was the first official meeting between the two sides.
