These Olympics were initially scheduled for July 24 to August 9, 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were postponed and eventually held from July 23 to August 8, 2021. Germany had a notable presence, finishing 9th in the overall medal count with a total of 37 medals (10 gold, 11 silver, and 16 bronze).
