The fan had apparently no room in his home for the carpet – sources don’t confirm whether he’d tried the floor – and opted to put it to use in the Russian Premier League. After displaying it at the fixture his side ran out 4-0 winners and in an age of social media the supporter and his rug quickly entered cataclysmic levels across Russia and the rest of the world.

It was so widely believed in Rostov that the away side Yenisey even accused their opponents of some sort of carpet based wizardry! Whether it was the dark arts of fabric voodoo or not it was Yenisey who were the victims of the burn and Rostov took advantage of a great opportunity.

It’s not everyday a magic carpet comes along, and Muzhiki grabbed it with both hands by quickly releasing what could be the best shirt released this season. Their special edition fourth shirt with the template based on the carpet with large blue collar and badge is simple yet genius.
